i'm getting this

the internet is boring today

things are moving rather slowly

i guess it's just one of those days

So I have this family thing tomorrow that I rather not go to b/c it's going to be awkard and boring, etc. and I have to read this book for history and study for Bio and see Jason. I chose to do my work tonight instead of going out and doing stuff.

I've been sick most of the week, and I've only seen one person. It sucks when everyone's spring break is before (and after!) yours. Oh well.

Ugh, SO NOT EXCITED for tomorrow. I dread going to family things.

So that's what has been up with me lately. Spring break needs to be longer.

I don't know why so many people take up Psych as a major. I have such a whack-ass schedule for Fall 2008:

Psych 40 (statistics, which I'm kinda pissed about since I could've taken that this semester if I had known I wouldn't make the PA program this year :[ )

Psych 89 (psychology of health and behavioral medicine- the only health/science related psych remotely associated w/ the pre-PA part of my major)

Eng 168 (Caribbean literature stuffs, lol. it was this or anthropology. i hate both, but i know i'm good in english, so at least it'll bring up my GPA)

RTVF 10 (intro to film/tv stuff, which looks really interesting, but it's from 3:50-7:50 on Thursdays =/ that's going to be fun, i can tell)

I'm planning on talking to my advisor again b/c even though I'm retaking my organic/biochemistry class in the summer, I don't know if that will be enough to raise up my GPA in the sciences, which is only a 2.5 something. I don't know what exactly I need for the sciences (prob 2.8 or 3.0), but I'm going to ask her if I can retake another science class that I previously took in freshman year instead of one of the courses above. I'm pretty confident that I'll be bringing up my cumulative GPA this semester, though. I've been doing pretty well. There's just 2 midterms I need to study for that are TOMORROW. Yikes.

Psych sucks, because really, I don't need to be taking any of these classes. The major just includes most of the credits I've already got, and it's something to pass the time. By the end of this semester, and including this summer, I'll have all my requirements done for the program. So... yeah. I rather spend my time taking classes that I need and can do better in, instead of something ridiculous as Caribbean literature. Le sigh.

I need to study.
